GROVE X ALEXRIMS BOONDOCKS 3 700C ALLOY WHEELSET

AlexRims have been manufacturing many of the world’s big-name rims for decades. Arguably the best rim maker in Taiwan, they now make all their hubs in-house too maintaining top performance specifications with high-quality assurance, all at a great price.

The rims are 30mm deep with 21mm internal width and a tubeless-ready design which suit tyre widths from 23mm to 55mm (2.2") wide. Rims come taped and with tubeless valves installed for quick tubeless setup and can also be run with inner tubes and traditional clincher tyres. 

24 double-butted stainless steel j-bend spokes lace 2-cross onto the Bear Pawls hubs. Hubs feature lightweight aluminium axles with low resistance sealed cartridge bearings; 2 in the front and 4 in the rear. A Shimano/SRAM 8-11 speed road freehub body ensures wide cassette ratio compatibility and axle specifications are for 12x100mm or 15x100mm front and 12x142mm rear.

Rim decals are removable stickers providing the easy option of a stealth black wheelset.

SRAM XDR freehub bodies are available separately so you can easily upgrade to run SRAM MTB 11 or 12 speed or SRAM Road 12 speed AXS cassettes.
